Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens is an event and wedding venue, art gallery, and tourist destination nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of East Tennessee, just over the mountain from Asheville, North Carolina and less than 100 miles northeast of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Founded nearly 25 years ago by wildlife artist Johnny Lynch and his wife, Pat, on their 75-acre farm in Unicoi, TN, what began as a farm and studio art gallery has blossomed into one of East Tennessee's most unique attractions. It now features Johnny's studio and art gallery, a covered bridge, beautifully landscaped corporate event and wedding facility rentals and catering, an authentic traditional blacksmith shop, catering kitchen, wood-fired beehive bread oven, and trading post.
With stacked-rock waterfalls, serene ponds, roaming peacocks, and expansive gardens, Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens is a wonderful venue to host group functions and events both large and small. From small private birthday parties and events, to festivals with thousands of visitors, we can work with you to make your event a huge success. We offer facilities and catering, and your guests can relax in a setting surrounded by nature, vestiges of our Appalachian heritage, and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We host our annual Fiddlers & Fiddleheads Festival every April, the Johnson City - Buffalo Valley Folk Festival in September, and a number of other public and private events throughout the year.
Every Friday, Pat bakes scrumptious breads in her wood-fired beehive bread oven, so place your order or stop by for a taste. You can also find her creations at the Jonesborough Farmer's Market on Saturdays during the warmer months. If you plan to hike any of our local trials, like the Pinnacle Mountain Trail, or are making your way along the nearby Appalachian Trail, be sure to stop by and stock up on the Appalachian Trail's best granola bars made in her Farmhouse Kitchen!
