We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens website and Twitter account! We hope you enjoy scrolling through our website and following us on Twitter to get the latest information about our event and wedding venue, wildlife art gallery and studio, blacksmith and metal art made in our blacksmith shop, Peacock Artisan Breads, delicious food, catering, gardens, and shopping!
It’s hard to believe that it has been nearly 25 years since we opened the studio art gallery to found Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens here in our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We have so many wonderful memories with our friends, customers, and family at the various events – including weddings, reunions, parties, company picnics, races, and festivals – that have taken place at our venue over the years, and we look forward to making many more. And we’re looking forward to sharing them with you on our new website and on Twitter! Our business has evolved so much over the years, and we have some exciting new offerings in the works, so be sure to stay in touch and visit our website often to find out more. For now, we’ll give you a sneak peak of a few events and new happenings that are coming this fall…
We’re planning to have a Farmhouse Bluegrass Lunch every Sunday in October, so come by after church on Sundays this fall for some fantastic barbecue and bluegrass music in our cozy pavilion. We will be cooking some of our amazing Farmhouse Barbecue with all the fixings, and you can relax and enjoy some tasty treats, music, and fellowship as we dive into the colorful, crisp days of fall. More information will be coming soon!
Our latest project has been the creation of the Buffalo Trading Post at Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens. As many of you know, we have quite an eclectic collection of antiques and collectibles, and your chance to buy or trade for your favorite antiques will be coming soon at the Trading Post. You will be able to find a treasure for yourself or a unique gift for those people who are hard to shop for on your Christmas gift list!
Finally, in an effort to better serve our customers near and far, we will be launching an online store in the coming weeks. You’ll be able to check out the “Artisan’s Gallery” section on the website (or you can just click “shop” on the menu bar at the top of the webpage), and you’ll be directed to our online marketplace, where you can shop for watercolor prints and drawings, Robin's blacksmith and metal art, and antiques and collectibles from the Buffalo Trading Post.
Be sure to stop by next week for the 2014 Johnson City – Buffalo Valley Folk Festival, which is a four-day festival with folk music, storytelling, a cyclocross race, and more, taking place September 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th.
We will be making some updates and additions to the website on an ongoing basis, so be sure to check back often! We look forward to seeing you soon!
